The MetaScient Oracle program has a searchable, indexed Information Library which explains all the features, functions, utilities, and content of the program in complete detail. This page provides only a glimpse of the program interface (screenshots below). For an overview of the program as a Knowledge System, click here.
Interface Concept
The MetaScient Oracle creates new ideas from the your input. As such, the interface is custom-designed as an interactive e-book, different from what you usually find in data-driven programs. It is meant to be a comfortable, intuitive environment that helps you concentrate on what you are thinking and feeling, reading and writing.
Program Windows
The program has two main windows: the Write window for interaction with the MetaScient Oracle, and the Read window for interaction with the MetaScient Knowledge. These windows are surrounded by a neutral background which covers the Windows desktop and can be removed by clicking the background, and restored by clicking the Write or Read window border. When the Write window is minimized, the background is taken with it.
Write Window
The MetaScient Oracle program opens into and closes from the Write window. The Write window activates the methods of conversation via 'Converse, Suppose, Comment', and accesses the Libraries in the Read window via 'Retrieve, Know, Help'. You converse with the MetaScient Oracle computer mystic to create Dialogues which you may save, print, or file.
The screenshot to the left shows the window after an Oracle response has been created. You enter questions or statements into the entry box, press 'Enter', then the Oracle response is displayed in the response box, and the entry-response pair is added into the dialogue box. Any of the methods Converse, Suppose, or Comment may be selected during a conversation. The Oracle returns to the Converse method after creating a response. When you have completed a Dialogue, you may save, print, and/or file it. Or you may close the program during the conversation and continue the Dialogue at another time. Not shown is a selectable Direction, Suggestion, or Inspiration, each of which helps you before and during the conversation, visible at the beginning of each entry-response cycle.
Read Window
The Read window opens into the Information Library via 'Help' and the Knowledge and Advanced Knowledge Libraries via 'Know', where you may access help, instruction, suggestion, knowledge, and other information that supports the program and your self-empowerment. It also opens into the Dialogue Library via 'Retrieve', where Dialogues you save may be read, printed, filed, or deleted.
The screenshot to the left shows a Library displayed in the split-window mode. Each Library opens with a top-level index of its Sections which can be expanded into its topic tree. When you select a Section, you can merge all its topics into a single display, or select them individually in a split window (as shown) or expanded window. You can adjust the display mode to automatically expand the list of topics or the content into the full window, or split between them, and these display modes are saved for each Library. You can search information or knowledge by opening topics via key words. And you can save your place in each Library. The Dialogue Library has an automated cleaning feature in which you adjust the maximum number of files and the maximum days a file is saved.
Help System
Help is obtained immediately by reviewing the Instruction box at each window bottom and by placing the mousepointer on any program control. You may also scroll or search the Libraries, or review the Oracle User's Manual for technical details.
Uninstall Feature
For those who do not prefer to keep the program, an Uninstall feature completely removes it with a couple of clicks.
