A Gift from Beyond
Starting with Tinkertoys, then rockets, radios, chemical magic, and other wild stuff, Knapp has been an inventor all his life.
Years ago, while in graduate school at Stanford University, Richard Knapp experienced a life-changing psychical event upon the sudden death of his best friend. "Ted visited me in a near-physical dream reality," he remembers, "to say good-bye and open my eyes. It was his parting gift, a difficult one to create. It changed everything I thought I knew, so I dedicated myself to find out what life really is."
Finished with Convention
The death of his best friend did not so much change his life as help to correct its course, away from the stifling narrowness of institutions, back to the exuberant creativity of childhood. His "fifteen minutes of fame" came with Spatial, Inc., an audiophile electronics company that received worldwide acclaim, created from his love of music and sound. There were other technical and artistic accomplishments, but those could not express what he felt
was most important.
To Share with Others
"I've had many astonishing experiences in the wondrous reality behind our earthly existence," he states. "Ever since, I've tried to bring those feelings into this world, where so often we take the Miracle of Life for granted. I've wanted to give to others what my friend gave to me. I'm an explorer, as we all are, so my work is meant to encourage the spirit of exploration that exists within everyone."
Author's Biography
Richard Knapp has three degrees in chemical and electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts (undergraduate) and Stanford University (graduate). He is the founder and former president of Spatial, Inc., the audiophile electronics company that created the world-acclaimed "Spatial Coherence Preamplifier" with his patented TFET amplification technology. He has since created numerous inventions in visual and aural signal processing to enhance human perception of information, and is a pioneer in the field of human sensor system modeling.
More recently, he created a new field of endeavor called "metascient research", a technical art that transcends traditional science by interweaving the non-physical and physical forms of existence into its paradigm, and that refutes traditional scientific object-oriented philosophy as antithetical to life's nature. Knapp is an inventor of idea systems, a philosopher, writer, musician, engineer, scientist, metaphysical scientist, and dream artisan.

Richard Knapp's philosophic creations are based on his twenty years exploration and analysis of alternate realities of consciousness. He witnessed different time-space creation mechanics with his 'earth-personality', thus was able to contrast physical and non-physical self-created experiences with a common perspective. That gave birth to a concept of reality radically different from the present assumptions of civilization, one that could see the world's issues from an 'outside viewpoint'.
No past or present cultural philosophy of science or religion is expressed within Knapp's work. Although related in concept to "The Seth Material", his work is entirely original.
